Dear Yellow Jacket Families and Community,
As we prepare to begin another school year, I am excited to welcome our students, families, staff, and community back to Moorefield High School. Each new year brings an opportunity to build on our successes and find new ways to help every student grow, connect, and succeed.
Over the past two years, we have had much to celebrate. Moorefield High School has been recognized as a CFWV Champion School, earned designation as a Purple Star School, received the Jennings Randolph Award, and most recently, was named a Jostens Renaissance® Silver School of Distinction in our first year of participation. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our students and staff and our commitment to creating a positive school culture.
This year, we are excited to welcome several new staff members to the Yellow Jacket family and expand opportunities for students through new clubs and activities. Our goal is to give students opportunities to get involved, build relationships, discover their strengths, and find their place within our school community.
While we are proud of these accomplishments, our greatest measure of success will always be our students. We want every student to leave MHS having grown academically and personally, prepared for their future, and knowing they had people here who believed in them.
We are grateful for the continued partnership of our families and community. Your encouragement and involvement make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and help make Moorefield High School a special place to learn and grow.
We are proud of how far we have come and excited about where we are headed. Together, we will continue making MHS a place where students are challenged, supported, and proud to be Yellow Jackets.
Welcome back, Yellow Jackets! We look forward to a great year ahead.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Amanda Campbell
Principal
Moorefield High School
