Franklin, West Virginia – Pendleton Community Bank (PCB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonah Pence as President, effective July 23, 2026.
Jonah assumes the role following the recent leadership transition in which Neil Hayslett was appointed Chief Executive Officer after the retirement of longtime CEO Bill Loving. The appointment reflects the Board of Directors’ continued commitment to a thoughtful succession plan that builds on PCB’s strong foundation while positioning the bank for continued growth.
Jonah joined PCB in 2019 and most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer and Virginia Area Executive. As a member of the Executive Management Team, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the bank’s strategic direction, leading sales production across the organization, and strengthening relationships throughout the communities PCB serves.
With more than 20 years of experience in a community bank setting, With more than 20 years of experience in a community bank setting, Jonah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
He is also a graduate of both the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and the Virginia Bankers Association Executive Leadership Institute.
