REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS – GREASE TRAP PUMPING SERVICES
The Hardy County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for grease trap pumping, and cleaning services at all Hardy County School locations.
Specifications:
The successful bidder will provide routine pumping, and cleaning of grease traps and interceptors at designated school facilities. Services shall include removal and proper disposal of grease waste, inspection of grease trap components, and documentation of services performed. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Contract Term:
The contract period shall be for one (1) year, beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, with the option to renew subject to restrictions set forth in WVDE Policy 8200.
Submission Requirements:
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“Sealed Bid – Grease Trap Pumping Services”
Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.
Bids must include:
• Vendor name and contact information
• Pricing structure (per service and/or per location)
• Proposed service schedule and response time
• Proof of licensing and insurance
• Disposal methods and compliance with environmental regulations
Deadline for Submission:
Sealed bids will be accepted until MAY 5, 2026, at 9:50 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened at the Hardy County Board of Education Office.

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of Hardy County Schools.
