REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS – DIESEL FUEL SUPPLY
The Hardy County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of diesel fuel for school buses for the Hardy County Schools transportation system.
Specifications:
Bids shall include pricing for on-road diesel fuel meeting all applicable federal and state regulations. The contract will include delivery to designated school bus fueling locations within Hardy County, West Virginia. Vendors must be capable of providing reliable, timely deliveries and maintaining consistent fuel quality.
Contract Term:
The contract period shall be for one (1) year, beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, with the option to renew subject to restrictions set forth in WVDE Policy 8200.
Submission Requirements:
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“Sealed Bid – Diesel Fuel Supply”
Faxed or Emailed bids will not be accepted.
Bids must include:
• Vendor name and contact information
• Pricing structure (fixed and/or variable)
• Delivery schedule and terms
• Proof of licensing and insurance
Deadline for Submission:
Sealed bids will be accepted until MAY 5, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened at the Hardy County Board of Education Office.

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of Hardy County Schools.
