Elkins, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins College is proud to continue its partnership with Robert Grant Nestor and Joyce Booth Nestor of an endowed scholarship in honor of their late son, Kevin Grant Nestor. The scholarship, which began receiving applications in 2018, continues to provide financial aid to families in North Central West Virginia.
The Kevin Grant Nestor Memorial Scholarship will provide a four-year scholarship to two students of modest means from Barbour, Grant, Hardy, Randolph, or Tucker counties. They must maintain a 2.5-or-higher GPA and exhibit good character and a kind and helpful heart. These criteria are assessed each year to determine a continuation of the scholarship, and funds are provided as non-tuition specific.
