REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS – EXHAUST HOOD CLEANING & INSPECTION SERVICES
The Hardy County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for exhaust hood cleaning and inspection services at all Hardy County School locations.
Specifications:
The successful bidder will provide professional cleaning and inspection of all kitchen exhaust hood systems, including hoods, ductwork, fans, and associated components, in accordance with applicable fire and safety codes (including NFPA standards). Services shall include removal
of grease buildup, inspection of system components, and documentation of work performed. Vendors must ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and provide verification of service for fire safety compliance.
Contract Term:
The contract period shall be for one (1) year, beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, with the option to renew subject to restrictions set forth in WVDE Policy 8200.
Submission Requirements:
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“Sealed Bid – Exhaust Hood Cleaning & Inspection”
Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.
Bids must include:
• Vendor name and contact information
• Pricing structure (per site and/or service frequency)
• Proposed service schedule and response time
• Proof of licensing and insurance
• Certifications and compliance with applicable safety standards
Deadline for Submission:
Sealed bids will be accepted until MAY 5, 2026 at 9:10 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened at the Hardy County Board of Education Office.
