A major water line break at the mulch plant in Baker drained the water storge tank for the Baker community to empty on Sunday afternoon July 12, 2026. As a result, regulations require that a boil water advisory be issued to all customers on the Baker water system. All PSD customers in Baker area will need to boil water prior to consumption until further notice.
This water advisory is being issued as a PRECAUTION and will be lifted once testing has taken place to ensure the safety of your water. It is hoped that the boil water advisory can be lifted on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, once testing shows the water is safe for consumption.
All affected customers have been contacted by phone to inform of the boil water advisory and will again be contacted by phone when the advisory has been lifted.
