Environmental Services Team Recognized with Mountain Top Award

WVU Medicine Grant Memorial Hospital recognized its Environmental Services team with the Mountain Top Award, which honors hospital departments that exemplify exceptional teamwork, dedication, and commitment to patient care.

The Environmental Services team received the award for their outstanding efforts in preparing the new RapidCare and Pediatric Clinic spaces located on the second floor of the Valley View Office Complex. Throughout the project, the team demonstrated exceptional flexibility, collaboration, and dedication, working together to ensure the new clinic areas were thoroughly prepared and ready to welcome RapidCare patients on the clinic’s opening day, January 19.

The team’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in their work were evident at every stage of the project. Their ability to adapt to challenges while consistently maintaining the hospital’s high standards underscores their professionalism and commitment to excellence.

The efforts of the Environmental Services team reflect the core values of WVU Medicine Grant Memorial Hospital. From preparing new clinical spaces to their daily responsibilities throughout the hospital, their work continues to make a meaningful impact on the care environment and the overall patient experience.
