WVU Medicine Grant Memorial Hospital (GMH) recently completed the installation of the Omnicell Medication Storage and Dispensing System. According to Brent Harman, Pharmacy Manager at GMH, a total of ten systems were installed throughout the hospital.
The implementation of this advanced technology has already resulted in several key benefits, including improved medication safety, increased availability of a wider range of medications after pharmacy hours, and alignment with the medication management systems used across all WVU Medicine hospitals.
This upgrade represents a significant step forward in ensuring consistent, efficient, and safe medication dispensing for patients at GMH.
