MOOREFIELD, W.Va. – Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College (Eastern WVCTC) and Point Park University have entered into a collaborative agreement that allows Eastern WVCTC graduates to pursue a fully online Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in four academic programs.

“This partnership between Eastern WVCTC and Point Park University represents an incredible opportunity for our graduates to seamlessly continue their education and advance their careers,” said Monica Wilson, V.P. of Academics and Student Services at Eastern. “By providing a clear, accessible pathway to a bachelor’s degree, we are reinforcing our commitment to student success and workforce development in our region.”

Point Park University will offer graduates who have earned an Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science degree from Eastern WVCTC in Accounting, Biological & Environmental Technology, Business Management, or Information Technology the opportunity to continue their education in one of the following bachelor’s degree programs: Accounting, Biological Sciences, Business Administration, or Applied Computer Systems.

The Information Technology transfer option is available exclusively to alumni who previously completed the program at Eastern WVCTC. This program has since been discontinued and integrated into a revised curriculum under the Cyber Intelligence degree program.

Students who have completed an associate degree at Eastern WVCTC will have satisfied up to 60 credit hours of the 120 required to earn a bachelor’s degree at Point Park University.

Credits earned at Eastern WVCTC will be recognized and accepted by Point Park University, streamlining the educational pathway for students. This collaboration enhances access to affordable, flexible higher education, promotes academic continuity, and supports the development of a skilled workforce.
