On Thursday, October 15, 2026, the HCDWC will sponsor a Town Hall for local candidates seeking election to the West Virginia House of Delegates and the Hardy County Commission. The doors will open at 6 p.m. at the McCoy Grand Theatre, Main Street, Moorefield, WV and light refreshments will be served to allow the candidates an opportunity to chat with constituents.
At 6:30 p.m., moderators Chip Combs and Patrick Hurston will kick off the evening with questions for each candidate. At the completion of the moderator questions, the audience may address candidates with questions or concerns. The program will conclude at 7:30 pm or shortly thereafter, and those in attendance may stay and talk further with the candidates and each other.
