Moorefield Soccer brings pizazz with special blue jerseys to play at home for the first time in the second season of existence at the redesigned Inskeep Field at Moorefield Middle School.
The Yellow Jackets have a talented and enthusiastic crew that is prepared to show the fans how much passion they have for the game of soccer on this new pitch.
Moorefield Soccer kept the leadership in place for the second year as head coaches Jessica Markwood guides the girls squad and Larry Foster is at the helm for the boys team with the addition of assistant coach Atikilt Tamiru.
Moorefield Girls Soccer Roster
The Yellow Jackets Girls Soccer roster includes: seniors – Valeria Rivera-Marrero, Grace Simmons; juniors – Limney Alvarado, Kensington Bedal, Parvatee Snyder, Chloe Leroux, Makayla Myers, Kailynn Penkov; sophomores – Allison Jackson, Kennedy Kuh, Jaelee Lender, Emily Parisi, Riley Strawderman, Allie Wyman; freshmen – Lelia Brafford, Elizabeth Cambera-Herrera, Aries Deetz and Isabella Haines.
Penkov and Simmons return as the goalkeepers the goals team.
Jackson, Lender and Leroux will be among the defensive unit.
Leroux scored a goal during practice against Simmons, who jokingly said the defense won’t let that happen in a game.
Look out for a quick fleet on the pitch with Snyder, Kuh, Parisi and Wyman leading the charge to the goal.
Despite a first round exit in the regional playoffs for Moorefield Girls Soccer in its first season, the Yellow Jackets have confidence to make an impact this year with the experience.

Anthony Jackson, Austin Arbaugh, Chris Baldwin, Jake Baldwin, Edgar Cambero, Danny Guifarro
Jason G, Kurtis Molen, Laurencio Sanchez, Teagan Eversole, Theywist Velasco, Will See, Braedyn Kimble, Brendan Fawley, Jordan Fields, Vance Simmons and Zackary Harvey.
The Moorefield Boys Soccer goalkeepers should be Chris Baldwin, Cambero and Eversole.
Acosta, Arbaugh and Guifarro were swift attackers last year and more weapons will be there for support this year.
Ansani roamed the defense and midfield last year as his talent can be used throughout the pitch.
Moorefield Boys Soccer reached the regional semifinal in its inaugural season and aspires to move further in the playoffs.
Moorefield Soccer is thrilled to have a home field this year with new blue threads to wear and ready to bring the noise to the Hive in a quest for glory.
