Humane Society Meeting in Wardensville Thursday Night

The Humane Society of Hardy County is hosting a meeting in Wardensville on Thursday evening July 30th at 6:00 at the Visitors Center concerning feral cat colonies in the town. The meeting will include identifying locations of colonies within town limits, recruiting volunteers to trap the cats and transport them to Lost River Animal Hospital on specific dates. Once spayed and neutered, the cats will be returned to their habitat. Anyone who knows of colonies or wants to help trap and transport, please attend this meeting.
