Eastern recognizes Hardy County students for spring 26 semester honors

Multiple Hardy County residents achieved academic honors during the Spring 2026 semester at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College.

Earning President’s List honors, which requires completing 12 or more credit hours this spring with a 4.0 grade point average, were county residents Joy Baker, Sara Baldwin, Alyssa D’Amico, Jessica Deck, Amanda Foreman, Lillianna Johnson, Morganne Miller, Lori Moran, Lian Mung, Lauren Ortega, Carys Pfouts, Brylee Reel, Krista Strawderman, Elizabeth Williams, and Haley Twigg.

Dean’s List recipients from Hardy County, earned for completing 9 or more credit hours this spring with at least a 3.5 grade point average, were Adyson Ault, Jasmine Baldwin, Mariah Baublitz, Rylee Branson, Bodie Brill, Heather Crawford, Odessa Cullers, Chloe D’Amico, Sierra Dispanet, Addison Hunt, Aubrey Kidwell, Caroline Kump, Raleigh Kuykendall, Rachel Maldonado, Margaret May, Kiyana Morgan, Brenna See, Macklin See, Jocelyn Sherman, Angela Sipe-Teets, Bereket Tamiru, Caitlin Walters, Vanessa Webster, Brittany Whittaker, John Whittaker, and Savannah Wilkins.

Merit List recipients, which requires completing 6 or more credit hours this spring with a 3.25 grade point average, were county residents Skylar Alt, Caroline Auville, Vincent Brinks, Veronica Carr, Marcus Cremann, Patricia Crites, Alyssa Custer, William Delawder, Makayla Dove, Mercedes Dove, Sicily Dunn, Teresa Fisher, Kamryn Foley, Kayla Grandison, Gracie Heishman, Anchely Hernandez-Lopez, Aryana Hinz, Madalyn Ketterman, Cyrus Kump II, Sydney Lancaster, Brock Linville, Bryan May, Alexis McKinney, Kalkidan Mekuria, Lillian Melander, Marcus Mullins, Martina Nesselrodt, Julia Player, Savannah Pullen, Natalie Rubenkonig, Makenna See, Hunter Shumaker, Steven Simon, Amanda Smith, Madison Strosnider, Cory Taylor, Garrett VanMeter, Gavin VanMeter, Jocelyn Wagner, Zachary Wilhelm, Bobbi Wilkins, Desiree Wimer, and Mitzy Zelaya-Castro.

Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, located in Moorefield, serves six rural counties in the Potomac Highlands. The college offers 14 degree programs (including six fully online), 12 certificates, and over 30 transfer pathways to four-year schools. Its Workforce Education department provides 15+ training programs in various formats and specialized Agriculture Innovation training, including mentorship opportunities for Farm Fellows. Eastern supports students and the community through its Career Center, offering job placement, resume help, and interview preparation. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
