The 2026 edition of the MD/WV Mountain Cup Invitational Golf Tournament begins May 28 and continues through May 31, 2026. This year’s event is being held at King Valley Golf Course located at Imler, PA. The tournament kicks off at noon on May 28.
Team MD is trying to rebound from a 20-6 loss last year at Champion Lakes Golf Course. Team WV has many of last year’s team returning, Team MD has only four returning golfers from last year’s team. This will result in very competitive competition and exciting days of golf.
May 28 kicks off with 7 four ball matches, then continues May 29 with 7 2-man scramble/shamble matches and finishes up May 31 with 14 singles matches. The team that reaches 14.5 points will retain or win the Mountain Cup.
The tournament has golfers that are members at local golf courses, Rocky Gap, Cumberland Country Club, Fore Sisters, Polish Pines, Oakland Golf Club, Alpine Lake Golf Course, Valley View Golf Club, Mill Creek Country Club, Fantasy Valley Golf Course, Winfield Golf Course, and Pines Country Club.
