The Hardy County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold two public hearings on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Hardy County Planning Office, 116 Washington Street, Moorefield, WV 26836.
The purpose of the first public hearing shall be to review a Conditional Use Permit request to operate Lodging/Short-term Rental (AirBnB) on property located at 556 Highview Rd; more specifically described as Tax Parcel 33, Map 370, District 2 (Lost River Tax District). The Conditional Use Request application was submitted by Ryan Beckwith. All types of lodging are conditional uses in both Agricultural and Residential Zones, so a Conditional Use Permit approval is necessary from the Board of Zoning Appeals.
The purpose of the second public hearing shall be to review a Conditional Use Permit request to operate Lodging/Short-term Rental (AirBnB) on property located at 933 Timberline Dr; more specifically described as Tax Parcel 122, Map 390, District 2 (Lost River Tax District). The Conditional Use Request application was submitted by Lea Laman. All types of lodging are conditional uses in both Agricultural and Residential Zones, so a Conditional Use Permit approval is necessary from the Board of Zoning Appeals.
