BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Hardy County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Hardy County Planning Office, 116 Washington Street, Moorefield, WV 26836.
The purpose of the public hearing shall be to review a Conditional Use Permit request to operate Lodging/Short-term Rental (AirBnB) on property located at 1254 Kessel Rd; more specifically described as Tax Parcel 25, Map 283, District 5 (South Fork Tax District). The Conditional Use Request application was submitted by Jeffrey & Judy Hesse. All types of lodging are conditional uses in both Agricultural and Residential Zones, so a Conditional Use Permit approval is necessary from the Board of Zoning Appeals.
