Multiple Hardy County residents achieved academic honors during the Fall 2025 semester at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
Earning President’s List honors, which requires completing 12 or more credit hours with a 4.0 grade point average, were county residents Joy Baker, Veronica Carr, Zachary Copeland, Nathaniel Davy, Jessica Deck, William Delawder, Amanda Foreman, Destiny McWhorter, Lori Moran, Lian Mung, Martina Nesselrodt, Carys Pfouts, Julia Player, Brooklyn Saville, Krista Strawderman, Marissa Ward, and Elizabeth Williams.

Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, located in Moorefield, serves six rural counties in the Potomac Highlands. The college offers 14 degree programs (including six fully online), 12 certificates, and over 30 transfer pathways to four-year schools. Its Workforce Education department provides training programs in various formats under specializations of Agriculture Innovation, Allied Health, Artificial Intelligence, Career & Technical Training, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Construction Trades, and Networking & Information Technology. Eastern supports students and the community through its Career Center, offering job placement, resume help, and interview preparation. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
