MOOREFIELD, WV — All aboard for an unforgettable journey filled with mystery, suspense and unexpected twists! McCoy’s Grand is proud to present Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, adapted for the stage by acclaimed playwright Ken Ludwig. The production opens October 2, 2026, bringing one of the world’s most celebrated murder mysteries to the stage in downtown Moorefield.
Performances are October 2, 3, 9, 10 at 7 p.m. and October 4 and 11 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and are available on the McCoy’s Grand website at: mccoysgrand.org. McCoy’s Grand is located at 121 N. Main Street in Moorefield, WV.
A luxurious train ride through Europe takes a deadly turn when a wealthy American passenger is discovered murdered in his locked compartment. With the train stranded in a snowdrift and a killer still aboard, the world-famous detective Hercule Poirot must race against time to solve the crime before the murderer strikes again. Every passenger has a secret, everyone is a suspect, and nothing is quite what it seems.
Directed by Mark Stickley, the production features a talented ensemble of local performers who bring Christie’s unforgettable characters to life. The cast includes: Dale Moffitt, Colton Young, Lindsey Sites, Jason Redman, Kaden Berg, Emily Pratt, Muryssa George, Sarah Imboden, Danyl Freeman, David Imboden and Emily Moffitt.
Featuring an intriguing collection of characters, unexpected revelations and a mystery that will keep audiences guessing until the final moments, Murder on the Orient Express promises an exciting evening of live theatre for mystery lovers and newcomers alike.
