Last week, as a Facebook release from the Hardy County Commission stated, “Governor Patrick Morrisey made a scheduled breakfast stop at Sunset Restaurant during his visit to Hardy County. The gathering provided an opportunity for local citizens to visit with the Governor and discuss issues affecting our community. Representing Hardy County were County Clerk Loretta Humbertson, Sheriff Steve Dawson, Chief Deputy J.T. Miller, and the Hardy County Commission’s Public Information Officer. We appreciate Governor Morrisey taking the time to visit Hardy County and thank Sunset Restaurant for hosting this morning’s gathering.”
