East Hardy High School shared this Facebook post last week, saying “EHHS is proud to announce that we are the recipient of the Jennings Randolph Gold Award, presented by the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office to high schools with a 100 percent voter registration of eligible seniors.
This award was presented by WV Secretary of State Kris Warner, who appeared with Hardy County Clerk Loretta Humbertson and Senator Jay Taylor. Mr. Adam Simmons helped coordinate with the Secretary’s Office and with Clerk Humbertson to ensure that our seniors had the opportunity to register and be recognized. We are proud to announce this is the first time for this award at East Hardy. Senior Jaydien Sager accepted the award on our behalf.”
