Moorefield Varsity Lady Jackets defeated Berkeley Springs Varsity Indians 15-0 on Monday at 226 Spring Ave thanks in part to nine runs in the third inning. Grace Simmons singled, scoring two runs, Brenna See doubled, scoring two runs, Kerigan Bergdall drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Raleigh Kuykendall drew a walk, scoring one run, and Sara Baldwin scored after tagging up.
Moorefield Varsity Lady Jackets jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Brenna See singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Caroline Auville singled, scoring one run, Sara Baldwin doubled, scoring one run, and Emmy Crites singled, scoring one run.
Annie Barr earned the win for Moorefield Varsity Lady Jackets. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking four. Kamryn Buck 2027 took the loss for Berkeley Springs Varsity Indians. The pitcher went two and one-third innings, surrendering 15 runs (11 earned) on 12 hits, striking out none and walking six.
