Lucy Lee Coppe, 68, of Wardensville, WV, died Monday, January 12, 2026 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1957, in Petersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Dalton Coppe and Helen Sherman Coppe. Lucy was a cook at various restaurants in the food service industry. She enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting things. She loved cooking and providing for people. Surviving are three sons: Chase Coppe-Strawder (Kim Cullers) of Moorefield, WV, Ian Coppe-Ridgeway of Winchester, VA, and Niles Coppe-Ridgeway (Laura) of Fisher, WV; four grandchildren: Desmond, Fallon, Noah and Abigail; one brother, H.D. Coppe (Bev) of Old Fields, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, infant James Coppe and John Coppe and one sister, Nora Mallow. Services will be privately held.

Memorial contribution may be made in memory of Lucy to the Wardensville Food Pantry, 37 High Street, Wardensville, WV 26851. Arrangements are by Loy-Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory, Wardensville, WV.
