WV Comedy Hideout will bring NICK DEEZ to McCoy’s Grand for a night of comedy this October. This will be the inaugural comedy event at McCoy’s Grand in its 98-year history. Comedy Night at McCoy’s will be on Saturday October 4 at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:15pm and tickets are available at mccoysgrand.org. Ticket prices are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door. This show is recommended for adults.
Headlining is comedian Nick Deez. Nick Deez is a standup comedian from Virginia Beach, VA, bringing the laughs to the stage with his razor-sharp wit and observations on life’s absurdities. With a style that’s equal parts sarcastic and relatable, Nick Deez has been making audiences laugh from the comedy clubs to the festivals. He will also have his debut special “Urn My Love” coming this fall!
“We’re excited to bring a comedian like Nick Deez to McCoy’s for our audiences,” stated John Brennskag, President of McCoy’s Grand. “We’re continuing our commitment to bringing all different arts and entertainment to Hardy County for residents to enjoy. It’s going to be a great night of laughs in Moorefield!”
Connor White, VP of West Virginia’s Comedy Hideout says, “We’re super excited to bring comedy to the McCoy’s stage in Moorefield! We love bringing high quality comics to share laughter with across the state. Live stand-up comedy is something that many West Virginians do not have access to for a multitude of reasons, so our goal is to cut down on those reasons as much as possible and bring comedy to a place that deserves it!”

The upgrades were made possible and supported with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism with approval of the West Virginia Commission on the Arts. Additional major funding was provided by Burke & Herbert Bank, Hardy County Commission, West Va. Department of Energy, Town of Moorefield, PCB Bank, and Capon Valley Bank among others.
