The 105th Annual Tri-County Fair 4-H/FFA Lamb and Goat Costume Contest is one of the best events in the barn with a plethora of creativity bringing joy and laughter among the spectators.
The 5U age division competitors were: Abigail Ridgeway with Lamb Ahoy (Champion) and Ryker Lambert with Let’s Go Ridin’ (Runner-up).
The 6-8 age division participants were: Madaline Griffin with Peacock (Champion), Kaylee McNeill with Dancing Queens (Runner-up) and Lakeleigh Wratchford with Dr. Suess (Third Place).
The 9-12 age division contestants were: Kaylee Golden with Beekeeper (Champion), McKenzie Bradley with Hula Girls (Runner-up), Britlee Basic with Fred and Wilma (Third Place), Harper McNeill with Angel and Stitch, Sada Michael with Cheerleaders, Cheyenne Crites with Hunter and Deer, Kenedy Strawderman with Beth, Dutton and Rip, Jacob Getz with Dinosaurs, Hadley Weese with Harry Potter, Jenna Funkhouser with Ladybug, Jordan Wilkins with Sheetz Lovin’ Goat, and Brynley Campbell with Wedding Unexpected.
The 13U age division competitors were: Maggie Whetzel with Twins (Champion), Danika Vetter with Si and a Jug of Sweet Tea (Runner-up), Angela Willis with Shaggy and Scooby Doo (Third Place), Karli McCaslin with Zookeeper and Zebra, and Tucker with Hawaiian Girls.
The Twin champion lamb decided it was time to just lay down on the ground moments after receiving the top award which brought resounding laughter.
The show concluded with the group division: Lelia Bradford and Elijah Goldizen with Shrek, Fiona and Donkey (Champion), Briley and Dustin Keplinger with Gutter Sundae (Runner-up), Darah See and Kate Cumberland with Red, White and Blue (Third Place), Margo See and Chase Cumberland with Play Ball, Sarah and Seth Sherman with Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ava, Anna and Emmy Parker with Basketball Players, Hannah and Brooke Taylor with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Elmer, Breymann Keesecker and Tori Heavner with Farmer and Sheep Dog.
The Tri-County Fair announcer was Dave Workman, who told everybody he was 105 years old.
It was a special evening featuring amazing designs in the Tri-County Fair’s lamb and goat costume contest which created smiles and laughters to all.
