Local insurance agency owner Judy Ball recently collected over $1,100 in contribution for the Humane Society of Hardy County. She also coordinated a pet food drive that resulted in over 700 pounds of pet food being donated to HSHC. One contributor of the food drive included seven year old Ember Zirk who saved her allowance for a whole month to buy several bags of food. Angel Bergdall of the Pilgrim’s Pride Cook Plant also organized a pet food drive among employees. HSHC is blessed to have good-hearted and generous community members such Ms. Ball, Ember, Ms. Bergdall and her staff.
