David John Weese, age 82 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Sunday evening, May 3, 2026, at the E.A. Hawse Healthcare Center in Baker, WV. Born on July 19, 1943, in Forman, WV, David was a beloved son of the late Berkley Osburn Weese and Grace Charlotte Keplinger Weese. A brother, Harry and sisters, Luella Leason, Dorothy Kesner and Mary Jane Fontanazza also preceded him in death.
David dedicated an impressive 53 years to the open road, working as a truck driver for Pilgrim Pride. Whether it was over the road, maneuvering around the yard as a yard jockey, or bringing a sense of security to his colleagues as a security guard, he embraced every role with dedication and passion.
