Zakk Keplinger collected three hits in three at bats, as Moorefield Varsity YellowJackets defeated Pendleton County Varsity Wildcats 10-0 on Wednesday. Zakk Keplinger doubled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning.
Moorefield Varsity Yellow Jackets got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Blake Snyder doubled, scoring two runs, and Caleb Flinn drew a walk, scoring one run.
Moorefield Varsity YellowJackets added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Oliver Crites singled down the right field line, and Trevor Baldwin doubled to right field, each scoring one run.

Blake Snyder earned the win for Moorefield Varsity YellowJackets. The hurler gave up three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out three and walking none. Chase Owens took the loss for Pendleton County Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher went five innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on 11 hits, striking out five and walking three.
Moorefield Varsity YellowJackets collected 13 hits in the game. Blake Snyder provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Moorefield Varsity YellowJackets with four runs batted in.
