East Hardy Varsity Cougars won thanks in part to four runs in the fifth inning. Levi Price singled, scoring one run, Shayne Sisler doubled, scoring two runs, and Dayton Dove singled, scoring one run.
East Hardy Varsity Cougars were the first to get on the board in the first when Mason Hamilton homered to center field, scoring two runs.
C Owens started on the bump for Pendleton County Wildcats. The hurler surrendered seven hits and six runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking two.
Evan Hamilton and Mason Hamilton were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for East Hardy Varsity Cougars. Mason Hamilton and Shayne Sisler each drove in two runs for East Hardy Varsity Cougars. Evan Hamilton stole three bases. East Hardy Varsity Cougars stole six bases in the game.
