I hope I have been a positive influence on the players at Moorefield High School.” He credits his former coaches at Petersburg High School – Joe Painter, Dave Cooper, and Dave Jones — as well as his coaches at Shepherd College — Walter Barr, Dr. Jacobs, and Coach Leuck — for laying the foundation for the man and coach he became. He also recognizes the invaluable support of his parents.
Most importantly, Dennis honors his late wife, Charlotte, whom he describes as his greatest supporter and the rock of their family.
