Special to Examiner

Kenneth W. Sellers, 59, of Lost City was arrested and charged with two counts of murder on

Oct. 25.

According to charging documents, Sellers allegedly called the non-emergency 911 Center and

said he had been in an altercation with his sister and her son. When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived,

they found Joshua Turner and Donna Mchan dead from gunshot wounds.

Sellers allegedly said he had gotten into a physical altercation with Turner and Mchan over the

position of a fan. Following the altercation, Sellers went into his bedroom and returned with a

pistol. When Turner came towards Sellers, Sellers allegedly shot him. Mchan came towards

Sellers and he shot her.

Sellers is being held without bond at Potomac Highlands Regional Jail.

The case is bound-over and will be presented to the Hardy County Grand Jury for indictment in

February.

All of the charges contained in the above are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt, and

each defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
