Esther C Walker, 80, of Wardensville, WV, died on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Winchester Medical Center.

Esther was the supervisor of the bake shop for the Capon Springs Resort & Farms, enjoyed shopping on QVC, watching WVU sports and listening to music, but most of all she loved being with her family.
Esther married William “Ed” Walker on August 24, 1963, in Hagerstown, MD. Ed died on July 5, 2015.
Surviving are two daughters: Sonya Mongold (Scott) & Stacy Heishman (Timmy); one sister, Eunice Lineburg; Grandchildren: Kristen Hart (Edward), Tyler Mongold (Autumn), Rachael Weaver (Tristan), Taylor Warren (Emmy), David Thomas (Hannah); great grandchildren: Riley Mongold (Serenity), Hayden & Greyson Hart, Emily & Ruby Weaver, Everett & Emerson Mongold, Sophia, Adriana & Fitzgerald Warren; special friends: Jennifer (Lucas) Jackson and Emma Kate See; and one grand pup: Bella
She is preceded in death by her daughter: Amanda Warren; two brothers, Harley Miller and Voight Miller; four sisters, Pauline Jennings, Garnet Kline, Phyllis Funk and Junie Miller.
A funeral service will be held at Loy-Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11 a.m.. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Funkhouser. Delete the duplicate standalone paragraph Interment will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery, Wardensville, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 6-8 p.m..
