Lisa M. Romero, 67, of Moorefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Lisa was born on September 13, 1958, in Petersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Amelia Carolene Method.
Lisa most recently worked as a Crew Leader at Spring Valley Farm Market in Hampshire County, WV. She enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, and vacationing with her family, where she especially enjoyed people-watching. She loved sitting on her porch with a cup of coffee, but above all, cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Jacynda “Millie” Romero and husband, Odilon, Jackia Montesinos and husband, Jose, and Jackie Taylor, all of Moorefield, WV; one sister, Janet Louise Taylor of Moorefield, WV; twelve grandchildren, Jazlyn, Brianna, Alexis (Steve), Fabiana, Ofelia, Diego, Priscilia, Jade, Malachi, Jocelyn, Josiah, and Jammari; six great-grandchildren, Kendrick, Ocean, Kaveon, Jae’Von, Leon, and Sincere; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her mother, Lisa was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jaqueen Laverne Method.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Loy-Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Wardensville, WV. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be held privately at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery near Moorefield, WV.
