Robert “Buster” Granville Wilkins, 76, Baker, WV passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.
Born on October 13, 1949 in Needmore, WV, he was the son of the late Landis R. Wilkins and Iva Combs Wilkins.
Buster was a graduate of Wardensville High School and served his country in Vietnam with the U.S. Army. He was the former owner of the Corner Mart in Baker, WV. He became a truck driver and later a carpenter with his own contracting business. He enjoyed hunting and spending time in his beloved mountains. His greatest accomplishment was as a husband and father and a proud Paw Paw who loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Perkins and 2 brothers, Llewellyn and Denzil Wilkins.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Funkhouser) Wilkins, his children, Robert “Bobby” Wilkins (Bobbie), Brent Wilkins (Shellie) and Stephanie Funkhouser, all of Baker, WV, a sister, Marquetta Oates of Gore, VA, a brother, Roy “Bud” Wilkins of Winchester, VA and his grandchildren, Layken, Ryder, Ridge, Taylor, Brooke, Bryant, Cully, Savannah, Mason, Amarri and Asher.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV with Bill Miller officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Baker, WV. Military rites will be accorded by the U.S. Army. The family will receive friends on Monday, 6-8pm, at the funeral home.
