PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Moorefield Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 5:00pm, at the Moorefield Town office to hear the following:
Farm Labor Housing – requests a variance to the Moorefield Zoning Ordinance Sec. 17-11. – Construction of sidewalks and curbs associated with new residential or commercial construction and to Sec. 20-12.17. – Fences, landscaping, and screening. The property owner is requesting a variance for the portion of sidewalk on the east side of the entrance due to the existence of utility poles. The property owner is also requesting a variance for the landscape buffer requirement due to the upkeep being costly. The address of this request is 116 Beans Lane.
Anyone desiring to make comments pertaining to any of the above requests to the Zoning Ordinance is invited to attend the hearing or may submit a written statement at or prior to the hearing. All written comments should be delivered or mailed to 206 Winchester Avenue, Moorefield, WV 26836, and addressed to the Town of Moorefield Board of Zoning Appeals.
