REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS – FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM INSPECTION & SERVICES
The Hardy County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for fire suppression system inspection, testing, maintenance, and servicing at all Hardy County School locations and the East Hardy concession building.
Specifications:
The successful bidder will provide inspection, testing, maintenance, and servicing of all fire suppression systems, including kitchen suppression systems and associated components, in accordance with applicable codes and standards (including NFPA requirements). Services shall include system inspections, functional testing, cleaning as required, documentation of compliance, tagging, and recommendations for repairs or replacement when necessary. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Contract Term:
The contract period shall be for one (1) year, beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, with the option to renew subject to restrictions set forth in WVDE Policy 8200.
Submission Requirements:
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“Sealed Bid – Fire Suppression System Services”
Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.
Bids must include:
• Vendor name and contact information
• Pricing structure (per site and/or inspection frequency)
• Proposed service schedule and response time
• Proof of licensing and insurance
• Certifications and compliance with applicable safety standards
Deadline for Submission:
Sealed bids will be accepted until MAY 5, 2026, at 9:40 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened at the Hardy County Board of Education Office.

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of Hardy County Schools.
