Carl Elwood Crites, a wonderful loving husband and father, age 85 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, April 2, 2026, at his residence. Born on July 7, 1940, in Durgon, WV, he was a son of the late Homer Charles Crites and Alice Rebecca Reel Crites. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Rachael Riggleman Crites, a daughter Patricia Crites, a brother Bob Crites and sisters, Genevieve Sherman and Ann Miller.
Carl was a member of the Moorefield Church of God, enjoyed camping at the river and all church activities.
