Strosnider fans 11 for no-hitter preserving shutout

Paylynn Rexrode drove in four runs on three hits to lead East Hardy Varsity Lady Cougars past Tucker County Varsity Mt Lions 13-0 on Wednesday at East Hardy Elementary School. Paylynn Rexrode singled in the first scoring two, singled in the third scoring one, and singled in the third scoring one.
Madison Strosnider (Richard Bland College) struck out 11 batters on the day. The righty also gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings while walking one.

Peyton Hicks stepped in the circle first for Tucker County Varsity Mt Lions. The starting pitcher surrendered 13 hits and 13 runs (six earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking three.
East Hardy Varsity Lady Cougars amassed 14 hits in the game. Paylynn Rexrode and Jaylynn Combs were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for East Hardy Varsity Lady Cougars while hitting back-to-back. Bella Bauserman, Madison Strosnider (Richard Bland College), and Gracie Heishman each collected multiple hits for East Hardy Varsity Lady Cougars.
