Moorefield Boys Tennis top seeded Doubles of Stewart Monroe and Preston Cosner earned an 8-5 win over the Vikings.
The Yellow Jackets Boys second and third seed doubles teams picked up forfeit wins over Petersburg – No. 2 Brycen Alley and Weston Eye; No. 3 Marcel Jager and Levi Williams.
Petersburg Boys top seeded singles Jesse Ockerman refused to allow a sweep with an 8-0 shutout over Moorefield’s Stewart Monroe.
The Yellow Jacketes returned to good fortune (no cookies) with No. 2 singles Preston Cosner grabbing an 8-1 victory and that was followed suit by No. 3 singles Brycen Alley collecting an 8-3 win.
Moorefield Boys Tennis No. 4 singles Weston Eye gathered a forfeit victory to usher in the Yellow Jackets team win 6-1.
