Moorefield Golf putted for its best season team score of 176 strokes, just three points shy of champion Southern Garrett at Four Sisters Golf Course in Maryland.
The Yellow Jackets were guided by Drake Kimble with a card of 40, followed by Kail Greenwalt with 43 strokes, Veronica Carr with 45 strokes and Trevor Baldwin rounded out the scoring with 48 strokes.
Moorefield defeated three other Maryland schools in the match: Allegany, Fort Hill and Mountain Ridge.
