KEYSER, WV – August 15, 2025 – WVU Potomac State College is proud to announce that Coach Doug Little, the highly respected head baseball coach, has been inducted into the Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The induction took place during a ceremony held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Grand Pointe Conference and Reception Center in Vienna, Ohio.
With an illustrious 28-season tenure leading the Potomac State baseball program, Coach Little has accrued nearly 900 career victories, including 21 seasons with 30 or more wins, and has guided the Catamounts to 14 NJCAA Region XX Baseball Tournament championships and four appearances in the Division I Junior College World Series. His exemplary coaching earned him the American Baseball Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year award 10 times.
Coach Little is just one of eleven distinguished individuals enshrined in the 2025 class of the Hall, which notably featured eight coaching legends and three standout athletes. WVU Potomac State College invites the community to join in celebrating this historic moment and the sustained excellence it represents.
In an interview with WTAP, Coach Little expressed both humility and gratitude, saying he was honored to join this year’s Hall of Fame class: “For me to be considered and be part of that, it’s really humbling so I’m very grateful for that.”
