Moorefield 8,9,10 All Stars 25 easily dispatched Jefferson County on Father’s Day in Baker during the West Virginia Little League 8,9,10 Softball District 6 Tournament semifinals, 23-2.
Moorefield 8,9,10 All Stars 25 jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Margo See singled, scoring one run, Tatum Crites drew a walk, scoring one run, Sara Sherman drew a walk, scoring one run, Addison Fitzwater singled, scoring three runs, Hadley Weese singled, scoring two runs, Presley Shockey drew a walk, scoring one run, Addie Baldwin singled, scoring one run, and Margo See doubled, scoring one run.
Moorefield 8,9,10 All Stars 25 scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. An error scored one run, Addison Fitzwater drew a walk, scoring one run, a steal of home scored one run, and Presley Shockey singled, scoring two runs.
