Four local businesses show their support to Hardy County Schools by making donations to the county schools to use as they chose to reward students. The donations are: free bowling pass for South Branch Potomac Lanes; free movie pass for South Branch Cinema 6 or free ice cream cone from “Sweet Rose Ice Cream” or “Old Fields Country Store. Kelly Williams donates 2 awards from each of the businesses each month. Moorefield Middle School uses the awards each month by placing the names of the students who had “Perfect Attendance” that month in a jar and pulling 8 names of students out of the jar and that is who receives the award. The following students are the winners for September—

Bowling: Gage Baker, Ciara Carpenter; Movies: Kenedy Kuh, Victoria Rivvera; Sweet Rose Ice Cream: Corbin Magdaleno, Kadance Mitchell; and Old Fields Country Store—Cleiry Cruz-Morales, Hermela Gebrentnsae.

The following students are the winners for October—

Bowling—Jesse Wyman, Natalie Rubenkonig; movies:–Charlotte Brown, Taylor Mulligan ; Sweet Rose Ice Cream—Elijah Kidwell, Hector Luna-Davy; and Old Fields Country Store—Emma Tusing, Trinidy Sampson.

Moorefield Middle School and the students appreciate the donation greatly and look forward to the drawing each month.
