On March 11, Hand Stitched Hearts Corporation hosted a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament at the South Branch Inn of Moorefield. This was the first poker tournament hosted. There were 28 players.
1st place went to Noah Long, who won $500.
2nd place went to Jason Markwood, who won $300‚
3rd place went to Jessica Markwood who won $200.
They were able to raise $1,000 and have sent a letter and check to the Children’s Heart Foundation, which focuses solely on Congenital Heart Defects.
