J.T. and Cherie Miller are the 2017 Wardensville Fall Festival King and Queen.
Both were born and raised in Hardy County. J.T. spent most of his youth in Baker but graduated from Moorefield High School in 1991. Cherie graduated from East Hardy High School in 1998.
They have been married for 18 years and have raised their family in Wardensville. The Millers have three children, 17 years, 7 years and 2 years. [private]
J.T. is a Hardy County Sheriff’s Deputy and volunteers with the Capon Valley Fire Department and the Wardensville Rescue Squad.
Cherie is a stay at home Mom.
“We are definitely honored to be chosen,” J.T. said. “We will certainly make it fun.”
J.T. and Cherie are scheduled to be formally crowned at 2:30 p.m. They will be Grand Marshalls at the Fall Festival Parade which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.[/private]
