Carrie Dove grew up in West Virginia, in a small town just outside Charleston. But when she visited the Potomac Highlands last year, she fell in love.
“I came to visit in April and had moved by June,” she laughed.
Dove is the new Executive Director of the Hardy County Chamber of Commerce.
Dove spent a good portion of her adult life in Knoxville, Tenn., but decided to return to West Virginia when she adopted a child. “This is where I wanted to raise my daughter,” she said.
[private] Dove brings extensive experience in sales, telecommunications and insurance services. She is enthusiastic to work with the Hardy County Chamber having experience with previous chamber associations and non-profit organizations.
“With my background in helping small businesses with marketing and telecommunications, I saw this as an opportunity to bring my experience to help small businesses in this area,” she said.
“This chamber is very successful because the members are invested in the chamber and the county. Of course, there’s always opportunity for growth.”
Dove currently resides with her husband, Bill and daughter Madison in Riverton.
